Health Science students earn top spots among 3,300 at state competition
Allied Health Technologies and Health Science Academy students from the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center (MACTC) were among roughly 3,300 students to participate in the HOSA: Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference, March 22-23, 2018. The conference took place at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Over 50 students from the MACTC competed in a variety of healthcare events.

Written exams were required for several categories including pathophysiology and pharmacology. The MACTC was recognized as an outstanding HOSA chapter, receiving a plaque of distinction for enrolling over 100 members as well as the 100% Membership Award.
