Senior Social Hour – Eurythmy

In-Person at Hackley Library

Thursday, April 25 from 3:00 – 4:00pm

Hackley Library will be having monthly Senior Social Hours!

In April, this casual, community program for seniors is going to have a Eurythmy theme.

What is Eurythmy?

Eurythmy movement is all about balancing polarities – large and small, activity and rest, inner and outer, above and below, slow and quick.  We’ll engage in mindful, fluid movements that can cultivate healthy breathing, flexibility, and warmth in our hands and feet.

Exercises encourage individual perception of one’s inner capacities and movements as well as social awareness when moving in relation to the others in the group.

The class can be adapted to fit the individual needs and mobility of the participants.

Join us at Hackley Library for fun, light refreshments, and conversation with fellow seniors.  Registration is preferred – register at hackleylibrary.org or call 231-722-8000.  FREE.
