Fremont, Michigan., June 11, 2018 – Blue Sky Vision is pleased to announce the addition of Randy Jansma, OD, to its growing team of eye care providers. Dr. Jansma comes to Blue Sky Vision from Jansma Family Eye Care, which he founded in 1998. Dr. Jansma provides comprehensive eye care ranging from routine examinations to full-scope optometry for patients of all ages, including children. He specializes in contact lenses, managing ocular disease, including diabetes and glaucoma, and treating eye muscle issues.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Randy Jansma join Blue Sky Vision,” said Bill Hughson, Blue Sky Vision’s CEO. “His passionate commitment to providing high-quality, personal care to his patients and to serving our local communities is consistent with the values we hold dear at Shoreline Vision, Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, and across the Blue Sky Vision family of practices. We are honored to be able to support Dr. Jansma in the continuation of his successful optometric practice.”

“Dr. Jansma’s success is a testament to his positive interactions with patients,” said Grand Rapids Ophthalmology’s Thomas Dunning, OD. “He takes the necessary time during appointments to achieve the best possible vision for his patients and they appreciate that.”

Dr. Jansma has been an optometrist since 1989. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Ferris State College of Optometry and is a graduate of Grand Valley State University. As part of Blue Sky Vision, he will see patients at Shoreline Vision in Fremont and at Grand Rapids Ophthalmology’s Grandville and 68th St locations.

“I am excited to continue my career with such a forward-thinking and caring group,” said Dr. Jansma. “I’ll now be able to consult with the best surgeons immediately and refer my patients to them when necessary.
