Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce Announces Board of Directors and Theme for 2024

Muskegon, MI – The Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce announces new board leadership and a new theme for 2024.

 

The 2024 new board of officers are

Board Chair – Jonathan Wilson, Regional Manager for DTE Energy

Vice Chair – Aaron Maike, President at Baker College Muskegon

Treasurer – Joel Kamp, CEO of Pigeon Hill Brewing Co.

Secretary – Sharlene Shineldecker, Chief Commercial Officer at Transnation Title Agency – Lakeshore Division

 

The 2024 New board members are

Jeff Cave, Chief Executive Officer at Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon

Alex Fonseca, Owner of Fresh Coat Painters of Muskegon

Nancy Westgate-Sytsema, Co-President of Wesco, Inc.

 

 

The 2024 Theme is “Positive Energy” as chosen by new board chair, Jonathan Wilson. Wilson is known in West Michigan for his “can do” attitude. “The power of positive energy is the driving force behind a flourishing business community,” says Wilson. “A positive outlook is contagious and can inspire innovation, collaboration, business and economic growth. Positive Energy creates an environment where organizations can thrive individually, while contributing collectively to the prosperity of the entire community.”

In the chamber’s research, they discovered that 2024 is a big year for the Muskegon lakeshore to celebrate milestones such as business anniversaries, expansion,…etc. “If a member business has a milestone to celebrate in 2024, we are asking them to contact us as soon as possible”, says Cindy Larsen, President of the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber. Extra effort will be put forth to recognize and celebrate business success.
