Muskegon animal shelter receives $70K grant to save pet lives

MUSKEGON, MI — A local animal shelter recently was awarded $70,000 to continue its protection of animals in the Muskegon County area.

 

Pound Buddies Animal Shelter, located at 1300 E. Keating Ave., was awarded the grant from the Petco Foundation on Thursday, May 31. The animal shelter is a non-profit organization that has been making an effort toward saving animals lives since 2002.
