Medical company ready to open in old Muskegon school building

MUSKEGON, MI – Vacant since 2012, the old Nims school will see new life in the coming weeks.

 

The more than 100-year-old building in Muskegon’s Nims neighborhood will be occupied by Grand Rapids-based medical company Avasure in the next week or so. The company plans to have up to 150 employees at the site, but will start with 15-30, said CEO Brad Playford during a phone interview.
