Community Engagement Meeting to Present Sites for a New MATS Passenger Facility in Muskegon Heights
Muskegon Heights, MI – The Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) will host a Community Engagement Meeting from 5-6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the Muskegon Heights City Hall, 2724 Peck Street. All community members are invited to view concept plans for two proposed sites for a new Passenger Facility in downtown Muskegon Heights.
The meeting will be an informal, open-house format with several displays summarizing findings to date, selection of two sites, and concept site plans. Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions and receive feedback. Participants will be invited to offer comments on how well each proposal supports the needs and desires of the community, and MATS’ role in helping to achieve them through transit improvements in the Muskegon Heights area. This information will be used to select a recommended final site and design concept.
