The Michigan Environmental Hall of Fame Announces It’s Inductees For 2018

The Michigan Environmental Hall of Fame will be holding it’s 2018 induction ceremony May 9 at 6:15 in the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. This year the Honorable Vern Ehlers will be induced into the Legacy Circle.

 

Individuals are Bill Murphy, former Enforcements Officer for the MDNR, Bob Garner, former legislative assistant and host of Michigan Outdoors television show, and Helen Taylor, State Director for the Nature Conservancy.

 

Also included this year, in the Projects category is Project Clarity, an attempt to clean up the Macatawa Water Shed, for School/Colleges, the Great Lakes Leadership Academy, in the Non-Profit category, The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.
