Why Victory Cruise Line wants to test Muskegon waters this summer

MUSKEGON, MI – There’s a lot to do in Muskegon.

“(Muskegon) comes highly recommended by the people who arrange our shore excursions,” said Bruce Nierenberg, president and CEO of Victory Cruise Line, in an email response to MLive.

Muskegon’s offerings range from Lakeshore Museum Center to the Muskegon Museum of Art to the Frauenthal Center to the Hackley and Hume Historic Site to the USS Silversides and USS LST 393. Not to mention Pere Marquette Park and downtown shopping, restaurants and breweries.

The Great Lakes Cruise Consortium also recommends Muskegon as a port of call, Nierenberg said.
