West African food truck idea wins entrepreneurial competition

MUSKEGON, MI — A Western Market entrepreneur will soon be bringing his native West African cuisine to the area via food truck.

 

Tacitus Bailey-Yabani recently won a $5,000 prize from StartGarden’s 5×5 Night competition. He is the owner of Abeshi, a small store with West African/Ghanaian jewelry, accessories, artwork and food located in the Western Market on Western Avenue in downtown Muskegon.
