Walmart invests $3.9M in Muskegon-area store remodel

FRUITPORT TOWNSHIP, MI – For more than two months, the Walmart store on Sherman Boulevard in Fruitport Township has been undergoing a $3.9 million remodel.

 

The renovation touches nearly every department of the store at 1879 E. Sherman Blvd., according to a news release. The store will host a grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 27.

 

“Nearly every department in this store was refreshed in one way or another,” said store manager Stacy Jones. “Customers will notice the exciting updates as soon as they walk through the door.”
