Senior Resources of West Michigan Seeks Letters of Intent for Aging Services Funding

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI — March 9, 2026 — Senior Resources of West Michigan, the Area Agency on Aging serving Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa counties, is inviting tax‑exempt nonprofit organizations to submit Letters of Intent (LOI) to apply for federal and state funding to provide contracted aging services for older adults in the region.

The funding will support services for individuals age 60 and older, with Kinship Support services available for individuals age 55 and older. Selected providers will deliver aging services under contract with Senior Resources of West Michigan during the upcoming funding cycle.

The deadline to submit a Letter of Intent is Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 12:00 noon.

Eligible applicants must be tax‑exempt nonprofit organizations serving older adults in Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa counties and must be able to provide a current IRS Form 990.

The funding period will cover Fiscal Years 2027–2029, spanning October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029.

Letters of Intent must be 1–2 pages in length and submitted electronically through the online form.
