Rollon Corporation Establishes New Manufacturing Facility in Norton Shores

Norton Shores, MI – Greater Muskegon Economic Development (GMED) is pleased to announce that Rollon Corporation, a subsidiary of The Timken Company, is constructing a 147,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Norton Shores. The new facility will produce linear motion systems for advanced robotics and automation applications across a range of industries, including industrial automation, aerospace, medical equipment and material handling.

Rollon is a global leader in linear motion and automation solutions, offering a wide range of products from linear guides and telescopic rails to actuators and ball screws.

“GMED is thrilled to have played a role in bringing Rollon Corporation to Muskegon County,” said Marla Schneider, President/CEO of Greater Muskegon Economic Development. “This project is a major win for our community, bringing significant investment and creating valuable job opportunities in advanced manufacturing. Rollon’s decision to locate here is a testament to the strength of our workforce, our commitment to supporting businesses, and the overall attractiveness of Muskegon County as a place to live and work.”

The project represents a significant investment in Muskegon County, with over $16 million dedicated to the construction of the new facility and the creation of up to 43 new jobs. Michigan was selected for this expansion due to West Michigan’s strong manufacturing workforce.

To ensure a highly skilled workforce, Rollon is partnering with West Michigan Works! and Muskegon Community College to provide comprehensive training and development programs for its employees.
