LAKETON TOWNSHIP, MI – Cross out “Winter” and replace it with “All-Seasons” — the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex is making a push for year-round outdoor fun.

Although an official name change hasn’t been made, the winter sports complex is branching out into spring, summer and fall.

The initiative has been named “Many Reasons for All Seasons.”

Wheeled luge and archery are currently offered during summer. This plan adds a whole lot more, and will cost about $2.7 million.

The initiative includes a dual mega zip line, canopy trail tour, multi-use pavilion, rock walls, a biathlon trail and archery range, sports and fitness trail, expanded lodge and parking, accessibility improvements, and more maintenance and storage facilities.
