Pigeon Hill Taproom Re-Opening and Upcoming Event Plans

Muskegon, MI— 03/03/2021 — Greetings from Pigeon Hill! As we prepare for the upcoming arrival of Spring and warmer weather – as well as the recent changes to statewide COVID restrictions – we want to reach out to all of our Community partners with an update on our operations and upcoming plans in the hopes that we can all work together to kick off the next few months.

Beginning next Wednesday, March 10th, we will reopen our Western Avenue Taproom!

Our initial hours on Western Avenue will be Monday – Thursday 3pm to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 12pm to 11pm, and Sunday 12pm to 8pm. In order to take advantage of constantly improving weather (and the thick skins of our Muskegon community), we intend to reopen our outdoor patio on Western Avenue at the same time. With the reopening of the taproom, we will reduce our hours at the Brewer’s Lounge on Fourth Street and remain open Fridays and Saturdays until further notice.

On March 13th, we will be celebrating St. Patrick’s day on both sides of Shoreline Drive. With our Western Ave Taproom open, we look forward to joining all of our Downtown Social District partners for the Shantyville event (many thanks to the Jaycees for organizing) from 12pm to 5pm. While the Taproom will remain open until 11pm that night, we will also be celebrating across Shoreline Drive at the Brewer’s Lounge! Beginning at 2pm, Smoke n Ash’s will be serving up great barbecue in our parking lot, and at 8pm we are excited to sponsor and host a a Michigan Irish Music Festival virtual concert watch party, featuring the Friel Sisters (other bands during the same series will include Doolin, Seamus Kennedy, and Dave Curley).

We have missed seeing – and collaborating with – all of our Western Avenue partners, and we cannot wait to be back in the Taproom. The last year has certainly been trying, but we are confident that the upcoming events will mark the start of a fun, exciting, and successful year in Downtown Muskegon. If there is anything that we can do to help you over the coming weeks or months, please do not hesitate to reach out! We will work to keep everyone up-to-date on our plans, and hope you will do the same so that we can collaboratively kick ass in 2021.

Cheers! (and Sláinte!)
