Parmenter Law Continues Local Support with Golf Outing and Walk to End Alzheimer’s
(Muskegon, MI – July 19, 2018) – Parmenter Law, based in Muskegon, continues to show their commitment to the community by sponsoring and participating in the upcoming Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber Golf Classic and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
In addition to being a hole sponsor, a Parmenter team will tee it up at Stonegate Golf Club on Friday, August 24, for the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber Golf Classic. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Silent Observer, a high-tech crime prevention program launched by a coalition of local business, education and law enforcement leaders.
On Saturday, September 22, Parmenter will gather together at Heritage Landing to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Parmenter’s newest team members:
Hilary Rohlman, Legal Assistant Hilary is a legal assistant, working mainly with Elaine Harris and Anna Urick Duggins. Prior to joining the Parmenter Law team in 2018, she spent some time traveling throughout the United States while participating in AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps NCCC, and World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. Hilary is currently attending Muskegon Community College to finish her Associates in Arts and Science.
Lauren Eisenbarth, Elder Law Paralegal Lauren assists Anna Urick Duggins and is involved in various firm projects including Medicaid and estate planning. Lauren received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the Parmenter team, Lauren worked as a licensed clinical social worker in the Muskegon area for five years.
Jillian Neagos, Legal Assistant Jillian is the assistant to Christopher L. Kelly and Brian R. Leibrandt. She attended Western Michigan University and earned her degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Before joining the team at Parmenter Law, Jillian was a manager in the financial industry for over 11 years.
Breann Fagan, Business & Real Estate Paralegal Breann received a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Grand Valley State University. Her previous experience includes non-profit work, medical assisting and mortgage lending. Breann is passionate about the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan and currently serves as Chairperson for the Lakeshore Kidney Krawl.
Jacob Barnard, Summer Law Clerk Born and raised in Muskegon and a graduate from Oakridge High School and the University of Michigan (economics), Jason Barnard is currently in his third year at the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in business law.
Jeremy Orenstein, Summer Law Clerk Jeremy Orenstein obtained his B.S. in Criminology, Law, and Society (concentration in Criminal Justice) from George Mason University. He is currently in his third year at Michigan State University College of Law.
Andre Oravitan, Summer Law Clerk Andre Oravitan enjoys learning more about the practice of law while helping others in the firm with research and projects. Prior to starting his summer clerkship, Andre finished his second year at Columbia University where he is majoring in History and Philosophy.
