New Partnership Serves Up Affordable Soul Food and Social Connection for Older Adults in Muskegon Heights
Muskegon Heights, MI – AgeWell Services of West Michigan (AgeWell Services) is excited to announce a new partnership with Corine’s Soul Food, Cakes & Catering, bringing the organization’s Discount Dine program to Muskegon Heights. Beginning March 11, 2026 during normal business hours, older adults will be able to enjoy affordable, home-style meals while gathering in a welcoming neighborhood restaurant.
Located at 90 W Broadway Ave in Muskegon Heights, Corine’s Soul Food, Cakes & Catering is known for its comforting, homemade meals and commitment to serving the community. The restaurant has become a local favorite for its traditional soul food, baked goods and warm hospitality, making it an ideal partner for AgeWell Services’ efforts to increase food access and social connection for older adults.
Through this partnership, adults 60 and older can dine at Corine’s and enjoy a freshly prepared meal for a suggested $5 donation, choosing from a selection of menu options designed to provide both nourishment and choice.
The Discount Dine program provides affordable and nutritious food options, while creating meaningful opportunities for connection, conversation and community. By partnering with local restaurants, AgeWell Services is able to bring nutritious meals directly into neighborhoods, while supporting small businesses and strengthening community ties.

The Discount Dine program is part of AgeWell Services’ broader Food Access initiatives, which aim to ensure older adults across Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa counties have reliable access to nutritious meals and opportunities for social engagement.
