MUSKEGON, MICH., Mar. 4, 2025 — Just in time for National Nutrition Month, the Muskegon YMCA is excited to announce the relaunch of its Mobile Farmers Market. Now operated fully in-house, the Mobile Farmers Market is a year-round market on wheels bringing fresh, affordable produce to locations throughout Muskegon County.

Over the past two months, the Muskegon YMCA has been refining the Mobile Farmers Market by carefully selecting the best produce offerings and preparing the van to continue providing high-quality service to the community. Currently serving senior living communities, the Y is excited to expand its Mobile Farmers Market services to more organizations and locations across Muskegon County.

“The Mobile Farmers Market makes it easier for people to access fresh produce, no matter where they live,” said McKenna Speed, Program Director of Food Access at the Muskegon YMCA. “We’re thrilled to continue this service and look forward to reaching more communities in need of fresh, affordable options.”

The public is welcome to visit and shop when the van stops at its locations. To view the Mobile Farmers Market schedule, visit muskegonymca.org/mobilefarmersmarket. Organizations interested in hosting a stop can contact McKenna Speed at mspeed@muskegonymca.org or 231-722-9622 ext. 206.
