The Board of Directors of Muskegon Rotary Club are pleased to announce the creation of a new and prestigious community leadership award. The award will be known as The Muskegon Rotary Roger A. Andersen Lifetime Community Leadership Award.

The Muskegon Rotary Board has established this award in Roger’s honor to recognize exemplary community leaders exhibiting the qualities of integrity, intellect and innovation. Roger A. Andersen will be honored by the presentation of the inaugural award at a Community Celebration to be held at the Muskegon Country Club, 2801 Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this event which begins at 5:30pm with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, followed by the award presentation program. Tickets to the event are being sold in advance for $40 per person and a portion of each ticket will be tax deductible and be designated for the Rotary International’s Polio Eradication Campaign and the Muskegon Rotary Fund at the Community Foundation for Muskegon County for local service projects and programs.

It is the intent of the Muskegon Rotary Board that the award will be presented annually to community leaders whose lives and service exemplify these traits, and who have contributed a lifetime of leadership to the Muskegon community.
