Muskegon museum to explore ‘Curse of Civil War Gold’ theory

MUSKEGON, MI – A mock trial, a picnic and a Victorian tea will all take place at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site this summer. Summer 2018 will be one of “adventures” at the Hackley and Hume homes, 484 W. Webster Ave. downtown Muskegon.  Perhaps the most adventurous will be a tour and mock trial in August related to a Muskegon-based theory about Confederate gold theft that was featured on the History Channel.
