Muskegon educational institutions taking on talent shortage

MUSKEGON, MI – The apparent workforce shortage in Muskegon County won’t be fixed quickly but local education institutions are collaborating with employers to fill in the gaps.
The county’s unemployment rate was 4.1 percent in August, according to the most recent data available from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB).
