Muskegon Army Recruiting Station Grand Opening

[Muskegon, MI] — The US Army Recruiting station in Muskegon, MI has recently moved to its new location at 1795 E. Sherman Blvd., Suite B.  The move was completed to better serve Muskegon and the surrounding communities with their future career goal needs.

The Army team would like to invite the community to a grand opening celebration on 18 Jun 2021 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 and check out their new facilities.  The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, a live radio remote with WGRD 97.9, future Soldier swear-in and food/beverages.

“Our team is so excited to move to this new location so we can better serve the Muskegon community for which our Soldiers have become a huge part of,” said Major Tynishia Jones, Grand Rapids Company Commander.

To become an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army, individuals must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; be 17-34 years old; achieve a minimum score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test; meet medical, moral and physical requirements; and be a high school graduate or equivalent.
