MOKA Foundation hires new Development Director FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Muskegon)- Jenna VandeKamp has been named Development Director of the MOKA Foundation. Jenna will lead foundation’s effort to raise awareness and financial support for MOKA, a nonprofit organization serving a four county region in western Michigan. MOKA supports individuals with a wide range of disabilities, and aims to assist them to gain inclusion into daily society encouraging all community members to “See the Individual in Everyone.”

 

Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota- Jenna has spent the past nine years living in Grand Rapids. She received a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Calvin College in 2012. She has extensive development and fundraising experience throughout West Michigan.

 

MOKA serves over 800 individuals in the West Michigan community through six core services that are designed for the individuals served to achieve their own goals. These core areas are: housing, clinical and community support, employment services, life goal planning, and the Youth Autism program providing treatment in applied behavior analysis (ABA). “Over the past 39 years, MOKA has made great strides in gaining acceptance and inclusion for individuals with disabilities in the West Michigan Community. I look forward to continue those gains by working with our community leaders, local companies and area residents,” VandeKamp said.
