Michigan’s Adventure Opens for Memorial Day Weekend With Special Events Tribute to the Armed Forces Gives Free Admission to Veterans for 14th Year in a Row
MUSKEGON, Michigan – May 22, 2018 –Michigan’s Adventure, the state’s largest amusement park and water park, opens on May 26 to kick off a 2018 season filled with a variety of special events for the entire family.
Opening weekend includes the 14th annual Tribute to the Armed Forces on May 27 & 28 with FREE admission to active and retired United States military personnel on Sunday and Monday. As a part of the program, active and retired members of the U.S military can purchase discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six) at a special military discount price of $26.00 each. The free ticket offer will be available on Sunday and Monday, May 27 & 28, and a valid military ID must be presented. Members of the Michigan’s Adventure management team look forward to the opportunity to host the distribution table and meet the brave men and women that give so much to our country.
Funland Farm has returned for a third season. A fan favorite in 2016, the family-friendly area will again offer a variety of farm animals for guests to meet. Furry friends include a miniature donkey, goats, alpaca, llamas, a miniature horse, chickens and more. Funland Farm is included with park admission.
Early season at the park will offer a variety of special events to guests, including American Heroes Week, Season Pass Holder Preview Evening, Scout Days, The Harlem Globetrotters Experience, Coaster Campout and special youth events. Michigan’s Adventure will be open on May 23 for Physics Day. Students from around the state will visit the amusement park and put the skills that they learned in the classroom to work while riding thrill rides and roller coasters.
