Job fair on Saturday aims to fill more than 200 positions in downtown
MUSKEGON, MI – A job fair will be held this Saturday to help fill more than 200 positions at downtown hotels and restaurants and a marina.
The job fair will be 9 a.m. to noon and 1-6 p.m. April 29 in the conference rooms at the Holiday Inn Muskegon-Harbor, 939 Third St.
Staff is being sought for the Holiday Inn and its restaurant Third Street Grille, Shoreline Inn and the adjacent Lake House Waterfront Grille, and the Terrace Point Marina, said Jon Rooks, whose Parkland Properties owns the hotels and restaurants.
There are between 200 and 220 seasonal and permanent positions available, Rooks said. Job descriptions include hotel front desk employees, floor managers, banquet servers, restaurant servers, maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, hosts and hostesses, bussers and shift managers, he said.
