Holly Hughes named Representative of the Year by lodging, tourism group

LANSING, MI — Michigan Rep. Holly Hughes, R-Montague, was recently named the 2017 Representative of the Year by the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association.

Hughes received the award at the 2017 Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference on Tourism. The Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association represents hundreds of tourism-based groups.

She said in a statement she was honored to be recognized and will continue to work and help create a vibrant lodging and tourism industry in Michigan.
