Monday, November 14 from 3:30-4:30pm

Always wanted to write a poem but didn’t know where to start?  You know your voice is there, but you haven’t found the words…We’ve got the place.  Drop in to the Hackley Library Young Adult room and create a poem/art/masterpiece!  Using an existing sheet of text, you can cross out/blackout words, draw artwork, and create a new story or poem.  We’ll provide the “words,” you provide the imagination!  Free.

LEGO Building Day!

In-person at Hackley Library

Saturday, November 19 from 12:00-2:00pm

Drop by and decorate the tops of our Hackley Library bookshelves by building some awesome LEGO creations!  We’ll provide the bricks – all you need to bring is your imagination.  All ages welcome!  Free.

All Ages Take and Make – Gratitude Garland

Available through the month of November at Hackley Library

Gratitude: the quality of being thankful.  Each day of November we will think of something we are thankful for and write it on a piece of paper (provided in your take and make kit).  Each piece of paper will be added to a piece of yarn to hang somewhere at home.  At the end of the month, you’ll have a colorful decoration and can share all you’re thankful for with our friends and family.  Take and Make kits are available through the month of November while supplies last.  All ages.  Free.
