Muskegon, MI – New state-of-the-art dental suites at the Hackley Community Care Oakridge Teen Center have the potential to provide care to nearly 10,000 community members and teens.
Hackley Community Care received a $110,993 donation from the Delta Dental Foundation to furnish and equip three dental operatories at the Oakridge Teen Health Center within Oakridge Public Schools.
The center currently offers medical and behavioral health services, but was in desperate need of dental care evidenced by the fact that the average commute to a dental facility is an hour round trip and dental pain is one of the top three reasons patients site for visiting Mercy Health System Emergency Room.
WHAT A dedication ceremony is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. to reveal the new state-of-the-art dental suites provided by the Delta Dental Foundation.
