First Fridays Rebrands Event with a New Logo and Website


MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN – First Fridays gets a new look as we continue into our second year. After an incredibly successful inaugural year, First Fridays Director Megan Jones wanted to keep momentum going with a colorful new logo and website. The fun logo features what First Fridays is all about – downtown Muskegon, music, family-fun, art, and local food and drink. Find our new website at,


The new website also highlights the fun, colorful nature of our First Fridays. On the website, we feature event history, goals, general information, as well as opportunities to get involved in future events. First Fridays occur every first Friday of the month February through November. Each event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Muskegon.


Jones created the logo to be versatile and usable in many different settings and formats. Jones was sure to keep both versions of the logo branded in a colorful, bright, and fun way so that it grabs attention and draws both kids and parents. The website also reflects the lively nature of our brand.


“First Fridays took off in its first year and now it is my job to keep that momentum going” said Jones, events and promotions manager with Downtown Muskegon Now. “By creating a new website, we are able to direct online traffic and guests more easily than ever before. This will boost awareness of the event, and in return the event will continue to grow.”


Remember to join your neighbors and community guests at the next First Fridays event, the return of the Street Performers series. The event will be along West Western Avenue, Friday June 2 from 6 p.m-8 p.m.
