First-ever Great Lakes Surf Festival has kayaking, yoga, more

MUSKEGON, MI – A full day of events is scheduled for the first-ever Great Lakes Surf Festival in Muskegon.

It will be the first of its kind on the Great Lakes, said Joe Bidawid, the former professional windsurfer behind the event.

He’s hoping to make waves with the event scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18, at Pere Marquette Park beach in Muskegon.
