Fall Flu Vaccine Clinics Now Being Scheduled

HomeTown Pharmacy is scheduling flu clinics for area businesses to help protect workforce health.

New Era, Michigan- HomeTown Pharmacy, an independent chain of pharmacies in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, offers on-site flu clinics for area businesses to help get their employees vaccinated for the
upcoming flu season.

Workplace vaccinations have shown to reduce costs by decreasing employee time missed from work to go get vaccinated and reduces absences due to the flu resulting in improved productivity (CDC.gov).

“HomeTown Pharmacy is committed to help limit the spread of influenza in our communities,” said Derek VanGalder, PharmD, Director of Pharmacy, “This is why we are offering on-site vaccine clinics to businesses in our area.”

On-site set-up fees are waived, and vaccinations are billed through employee insurance providers making these flu clinics turn-key for employers.
