At the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, our Ambassador Committee plays an essential role in connecting with members, promoting local businesses, and creating a welcoming atmosphere at every event. These dedicated volunteers are truly the heartbeat of our organization — always showing up with enthusiasm, delivering welcome bags, and building meaningful relationships across the community.
During a recent gathering, we took a moment to recognize these incredible individuals and give them the appreciation they deserve. Their energy, commitment, and passion make a lasting impact on our Chamber and the businesses we serve.
One Ambassador, in particular, stood out this year — not just to Chamber staff, but to fellow committee members as well. We’re thrilled to announce the 2024 Ambassador of the Year: Shawn Webster of McKenzie-Price Insurance Agency
Shawn has been a dedicated Ambassador for several years and continues to lead by example. His peers describe him as an “excellent cheerleader for the Chamber and local businesses,” someone who is “always present at meetings and events,” and a volunteer who “goes out of his way to engage with members and make others feel welcome.”
Shawn’s unwavering commitment and positive energy embody everything the Ambassador program stands for. We’re proud to have him as part of our team and grateful for the impact he’s made.
