Community Invited to Grand Opening Celebration for PLAY Muskegon
Muskegon, MI. PLAY Muskegon, an anchor business located inside “The Corner” building (280 W Muskegon Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440), will be celebrating their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration at an all-day affair on May 15th. The event will feature, refreshments, snacks, local food truck vendors and the new PLAY Muskegon Café serving Aldea Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, a variety of pastries for sale.
A full schedule of events are as follows:
8:30am-12pm – FREE Classes: Families and kids under the age of 6 are invited to experience free class samples and play sessions including Zumbini at 8:30am, Discover Dance at 10am and Broadway Babies at 11:30am.
1pm-4pm – Community Celebration PLAYtime: The community is invited to visit the space, enter to win prizes, experience interactive activities, crafts, games, and more!
4:30pm-6:30pm – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Business and community leaders are invited to experience what PLAY Muskegon has to offer. The ribbon cutting ceremony and a short presentation led by the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce will begin at 5:15pm.

PLAY Muskegon is an interactive play experience designed specifically for children ages 6 and younger. PLAY Muskegon draws inspiration from many successful European business models, and features carefully designed environments, such as a grocery store and construction zone for kids to immerse themselves in, with their favorite grown-ups. Other areas in the space will rotate periodically depending on the season or holiday. The purpose of PLAY Muskegon is to support the many facets of childhood development by providing children with the opportunity to engage in activities that foster imagination, creativity, and social skills.
