Muskegon Community College (MCC) will celebrate its graduates at the 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Health Arena in downtown Muskegon.

This year’s ceremony takes place during MCC’s Centennial Year, marking 100 years of the college serving students and the community. While the celebration is part of MCC’s Centennial year of events, the 100th graduating class will actually be recognized in 2028.

“Commencement is the most important thing we do at Muskegon Community College,” said Dr. John Selmon, President of MCC. “It’s my favorite day of the year because we get to celebrate our student’s success, and all the hard work, persistence, and growth they’ve shown to reach this moment. I’m incredibly proud of each of them for bringing out their best and achieving their goals. Congratulations to all of our graduates.”

So far this academic year, Muskegon Community College has awarded more than 664 degrees and certificates, including over 535 associate degree graduates and more than 129 certificate graduates
