Cole’s, maker of frozen garlic bread, celebrates 75 years in Muskegon

MUSKEGON, MI — A local bakery known for its invention and distribution of frozen garlic bread is celebrating its 75th year.

 

Cole’s Quality Foods Inc., which began in 1943 in Muskegon by Caroll L. Cole, has turned into a company that sells more than 30 million loaves of garlic bread a year and employs more than 300 people.
