Charitable hammock company wins $5K at Muskegon 5×5 Night

MUSKEGON, MI – High Hopes Hammocks is soaring after winning the $5,000 prize at a business pitch competition.
Five entrepreneurs pitched their ideas at Start Garden’s 5×5 Pitch Night in Muskegon on Tuesday, Aug. 29. At the end of the evening, Connor Moynihan, with High Hopes Hammocks, came out on top.
Moynihan, a recent Central Michigan University graduate, founded High Hopes Hammocks in 2015.
The company donates a hammock, a meal, or survival kit to someone living in poverty for every hammock sold. Since 2015, the company has sold more than 2,500 hammocks and made donations all over the world.
