Chamber Welcomes New Ambassadors

The chamber welcomes ten new members to the Ambassador League! The mission of the Ambassador League is to promote the interests of business and the Chamber by participating in events, delivering member plaques, helping with member appreciation, recruiting new members and attending monthly meetings, all while having fun and networking with businesses.

Meet the new members:

Audrey Link, Max Graphics

Audrey Link graduated from Muskegon Community College with an Associate of Arts in Graphic Reproduction 1995, and also graduated from Baker College of Muskegon with an Associate of Business 2007, and a Bachelor of Graphic Communications 2010, and was on the Dean’s list 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. In addition to her certifications, Audrey has 26+ combined years of experience working professionally in the Graphic Arts field. Audrey has experience with a wide variety of media including multiple types of print design, logo design, branding, multiple types of signage & vehicle graphics, t-shirts, and novelty graphics, web/social media management, illustration, rendering, photo retouching, and a little photography.

Audrey is the owner/ Graphic Designer of Max Graphics LLC is a small graphic design business that loves working with its clients to produce great design on good quality materials that will reflect the marketing visions of our customers. I’m passionate about design and marketing and nothing makes me prouder than completing a project knowing that I have done my best to create something special for my customer.

I still believe in using good quality materials in a world of mass production, fast solutions, and disposable products. My goal is to achieve the customer’s satisfaction by offering the best-built, highest-quality products available. This in turn will save them money in the long run. I put care into each and every project I do.

Max Graphics specializes in vinyl lettering for vehicles and business, custom decals, some signage, banners, promotional materials, business cards, brochures, logo design, and other design services. I am also an artist and love done creative art pieces with multi forms of mediums, illustrations, and some photography/ photo retouching.

Even in my free time you might find me doing some form of the art or volunteering somewhere. I am a current member of the; Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, Greater Muskegon Woman’s Club, Lakeshore Human Trafficking Task Force and a former “Big Sister Volunteer” at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Lakeshore. She likes to stay busy with projects or in the community.

Jennifer Hamdorf, Huntington Bank

Jennifer Hamdorf is a Business Banking Relationship Manager for Huntington National Bank.  Jennifer has been in the banking industry since 2008 after graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Information Systems from Missouri University of Science and Technology.  In 2011, Jennifer and her husband relocated to Muskegon, Michigan – where they now raise their daughter.  Professionally she has experience in the Consumer and Business Banking segments. She specializes in commercial lending and helping business owners with their overall financial needs and goals.  Personally, she is an active member in her church and enjoys volunteering in the Muskegon community.

Kyle DeWitt, Custer

I grew up in West Michigan, went to Western Michigan University, lived in Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Cleveland before making my way back to West Michigan, where I got into the furniture industry. I’m excited to be a chamber Ambassador!

Lisa Kraus, Edward Jones

Lisa Kraus is a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Passionate about Muskegon, she is the marketing director for Taste of Muskegon and a skating instructor with Lakeshore

Skating Academy. Lisa is an adventurous travel and avid reader.

Martha Samuel, Workforce Staffing

My name is Martha Samuel, and I am self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast (by way of Starbucks)! Coffee just happens to be the driver to help me do all the things. I am a Client Program Supervisor at Workforce Staffing.  My amazing team and I work to find the right job opportunities for our talent with our wonderful clients.  When I am not working (like when is that), my personal life is filled with time spent with my beautiful family, making memories.  I am also completing my degree in psychology and addiction studies. No day is ever the same.  See why I need the coffee?!  When people ask what do I do?  My answer is always, “my best. I do my best.”

Michael Apostle, Journey Construction Group

Michael Apostle:  Journey Construction Group: Marketing and Business Development Director.  JCG is a General Contractor in Commercial Construction.  Before JCG, Michael worked at Access Health in Muskegon for 10 years and coached at Mona Shores High School for 14 years and was  Head Coach for Mona Shores Varsity Boys Soccer team the past 7 years.

When Michael is not working, he enjoys everything outdoors! Hunting, fishing, hiking and enjoying downtown Muskegon!

Nicole Lawrence, Consumers Credit Union

Consumers Mortgage Loan Officer Nicole Lawrence is ready to work hard to be the one you call for all your home lending needs.

With more than 10 years of experience in the financial sector, Nicole is eager to put her industry knowledge to work for our members as she advises them about what is most important to them when buying, building or refinancing a home and proposes home lending solutions to fit those needs.

“I recognize that a mortgage is typically the largest purchase most people will ever make,” explained Nicole. “That’s why I make sure to understand the full picture around their financial and life goals so that I can provide my absolute best assistance as they prepare for this exciting step along their journey.

“It’s important to me to not only get them into their new or improved home, but to make sure it’s the best fit for their overall financial goals and they are comfortable and happy.”

During her free time, Nicole loves camping, kayaking, attending soccer games, spending time with friends and volunteering as a member of the Fruitport Lions Club. Additionally, Nicole enjoys family time with her husband, four daughters and two rescue pets.

Samara Tobar, Valor Logistics & Consulting / epi breads

Samara Tobar is the Principal and Founder of Valor Logistics & Consulting LLC, as well as a Human Resources Leader for Epi Breads in Muskegon.  Her background in Workforce Development and People Operations has afforded her the opportunity to build her consultant firm.  Samara was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and is a transplant into Muskegon.  She loves her community and the work that is being done along the lakeshore.  Her expertise spans various industries including Education, Human Resources, Workforce Development, Faith-based Institutions, Healthcare, and the Non-Profit sector.  She brings a fresh lens to working environments that are presented with the opportunity for fine-tuning and growth.  Samara has a proven track record as an agent of change that is fervent in finding and in some cases, creating the synergy within a team for the purpose of seeing excellent outcomes and increased productivity.  It is her passion to share her gift of being bilingual (English and Spanish) and to serve companies in a different capacity which enables them to expand their reach.
