Betten Baker Acquires McDonald Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Big Rapids, MI – The Betten Baker footprint continues to expand with another acquisition. The newest acquisition of McDonald Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be store number 19 for the Betten Baker Auto Group and the group will take over operations immediately. This location is directly across the street from the current Betten Baker Chevrolet Buick GMC store in Big Rapids on Northland Drive.
“The car business is incredible right now! This is something that I tell our team regularly and a mantra for Betten Baker as we continue to grow. We’ve loved being apart of the Big Rapids community. So, the acquisition of store number nineteen made sense to us to compliment our presence in the Big Rapids market, as well adding to our growing Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram portfolio.” Says Betten Baker Co-Owner Chris Baker.
Betten Baker will be taking over operations of McDonald Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on September 18, 2018. Betten Baker co-owner Chris Baker stated that they would retain McDonald employees. Betten Baker auto group has locations in several counties across Michigan and proudly employs just under 900 people.
Betten Baker Chevrolet Cadillac GMC celebrated 36 years in March and has continuously expanded their Muskegon presence by adding Betten Baker Honda and Betten Baker Hyundai and an additional used car location. In addition, they have expanded into other communities including Coopersville, Twin Lake, Lowell, Grandville, Big Rapids, Allegan, Ludington, Cadillac, Alma, Ithaca, Kent City and Midland. Betten Baker has continued to be a leader in automotive sales in West Michigan and will continue this trend into new markets. Their progressive attitude and actions in the community allow them to not only remain a strong Michigan employer, but also help them remain successful in the future by exceeding the needs and expectations of today’s consumers.
