AgeWell Services Announces New Leadership

September 1, 2015 — AgeWell Services of West Michigan, recently hired Kris Collee as the agency’s new executive director. She will be replacing long-time director Sharon TerHaar as she is retiring later this month after 34 years of service.

 

Collee has served as the Development Director for Volunteer Muskegon, Executive Director of Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County and most recently as the Program Manager at Kids’ Food Basket here in Muskegon. She is a rotary member and has won numerous honors for her leadership and success.

 

“I am ready to transition into retirement and I am very excited for the future of this agency knowing Kris will be the new leader, said AgeWell Services Executive Director Sharon TerHaar. “I know she will love this agency, our team, our mission and our Tanglewood Park partners and do a great job for future growth and success for the work we do.”

 

Collee holds a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in non-profit management from Grand Valley State University.

 

Collee’s volunteer activities include serving on the board of directors and as the Volunteer Director for the Michigan Irish Music Festival.
