Congratulations!

Join us as we celebrate the appointment of Janelle Mair to Vice President of Programs, and Heidi Sytsema to Vice President of Development!

“Both of these leaders have been key to the impact and the success the Foundation and our donors have had,” said Chris McGuigan, CFMC president/CEO. “They are greatly respected by their colleagues in the Foundation and across the state. I am proud and happy they are on our team and glad to properly name their roles and responsibilities at the Community Foundation.”

“I’m also pleased that Bob Chapla continues to be part of the Foundation’s work in his role as Philanthropic Advisor,” said McGuigan.

Heidi joined the Foundation’s finance department in 2006 after 13 years as a CPA, transitioning to the development team after two years.  She serves on the Community enCompass’ board, and has been active on committees at church, school and her neighborhood association.  After serving as director of the Nuveen Community Center for the Arts, Janelle joined the Foundation in 2011 as a development associate, moving to program officer and then director of grants in 2013. She serves as a board member for Goodwill of West Michigan and as a volunteer with White Lake robotics.
