The Muskegon County Fair starts next week! The Fair opens Monday, July 22nd and completes after six amazing days on Saturday, July 27th – you won’t want to miss it!  The 91st annual fair, held at the fairgrounds in Fruitport, Michigan is a favorite local county fair showcasing the area youth’s livestock, baked goods and inanimate projects as well as fair games, grandstand events, craft show, live music and more for visitors to enjoy.  Parking is FREE! There is no charge to enjoy the fair, with the exception of grandstand admission fees.

Pick up your favorite treats from the various food vendors while you’re visiting and check out the free Fair Games happening each day throughout the week. New this year, Family Fun Tyme Carnival hosts fun entertainment for youth ages 2-11 starting Tuesday running through Saturday from 2pm-10pm; tickets available on site.

Grandstand events include Antique Tractor Pulls on Tuesday, Mini Horse Pulls Wednesday and SJO Motocross racing on Saturday. Thursday events include the Sherriff Mounted Unit Steak Fry from 4-7pm and the Livestock Auction starting at 5:30pm.

The live music and beer tent are back again this year on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7-11:00pm with no cover charge.  The Youth Rodeo will take place in the arena on Friday evening starting at 7:00pm! Plus, don’t miss out on the baked goods auction starting on Saturday at 10:00am featuring all the favorite goodies submitted by the youth exhibitors!

Thank you for supporting the Muskegon County Fair! Without your continued support, our fair would not exist for everyone to enjoy year after year.
