45th Annual Trinity Health Seaway Run Set for June 27 in Muskegon

MUSKEGON, MICH., May 11, 2026 — The 45th annual Trinity Health Seaway Run will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at Heritage Landing in downtown Muskegon. One of West Michigan’s most beloved running events, the Seaway Run offers something for everyone with a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, Community Walk, and the brand-new Kids 1.2k Fun Run, all featuring scenic routes along Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.
This year, race organizers are doubling down on their commitment to family participation and encouraging healthy habits across generations. To support that mission, youth runners under 18 can register for the 5k at a flat rate of $15. For the youngest members of the family, the new Kids 1.2K Fun Run on June 26th is completely free, making it easier than ever for the whole family to get in on the fun.
“The Trinity Health Seaway Run continues to thrive because of the people who show up, support it, and bring others along,” said Bryan Lambert, Race Director. “Whether you’re chasing a new personal best or taking a walk with your family, you’re helping build a healthier Muskegon for everyone.”
Proceeds from the Trinity Health Seaway Run benefit year-round programs at the Muskegon YMCA, including chronic disease prevention, nutritious food access through the Mobile Farmers Market, Livestrong for cancer survivors, Safety Around Water for local students, and youth day and overnight camps in Muskegon and at YMCA Camp Pendalouan in Montague.
Thanks to the dedication of participants, sponsors, volunteers, community partners, and the Seaway Run team, the event continues to make a lasting impact, bringing people together each June while supporting health and wellness throughout Muskegon County all year long.
