People often take our numerous lakes, rivers and streams for granted. Muskegon County has 27 miles of Lake Michigan waterfront, 27 inland lakes and more than 400 miles of rivers. These waterways are respected and treasured by travelers from around the world, so it is for that reason, the chamber board of directors recently voted to change the name of the organization from the Muskegon Area Chamber of Commerce to the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce. Although the Chamber is changing the name of the organization, the mission and vision remain the same. We are still hear to serve Muskegon's business community and continue to make Muskegon the best place to live, work and play.
