4.9.12 Spring Lake non-profit organization, Bluebird Cancer Retreats is accepting registration for the spring season; Newcomers Retreat April 27- April 29 and Couples Retreat May 18-20.
The retreats, held on the shores of Lake Michigan at Geneva Camp and Retreat Center, provide participants time to reflect, share, and learn about coping with cancer while participating in a variety of educational and social activities.
Retreats are staffed by medical, spiritual, and social professionals along with cancer survivors and volunteers, and are carefully constructed to ensure a dynamic healing journey toward emotional well-being.
Cost of the retreat is $100 per person and includes two night’s accommodations, all meals, and all activities. Bluebird recognizes the financial burden of cancer, and a scholarship fund is available for those who are in need.
Space is limited and immediate registration is encouraged. Call 616.847.0839 to register, or visit www.bluebirdmi.org for a registration form and more information.
