February 24, 2015 - Baker College of Muskegon is now enrolling students for the 2015 spring quarter, with classes beginning Monday, April 6.
February 24, 2015 - On February 20, 2015, the Baker College of Muskegon Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM) hosted 63 Hospitality students from seven career tech centers in Northwestern Michigan for the 2015 SkillsUSA Regional Competition. These students competed in four areas: Culinary Arts, Commercial Baking, Food & Beverage Service, and Team Banquet. Muskegon Area Career Tech Center (MACTC) students earned gold medals in all three events.
February 24, 2015 - Surveillance cameras, more robust Internet connections, personal learning devices, and training for teachers top the list of improvements underway according to a new “Annual Accountability Report” released by the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District (MAISD). The report marks the one-year anniversary of the one-mill, ten-year enhancement millage to fund $4.3 million annually in technology and security improvements for public school districts within the MAISD.

February 20, 2015 - The Baker College teacher preparation program has earned national initial accreditation for five years by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This endorsement is based on principles set by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) that support the preparation of competent, caring and qualified professional educators.
February 19, 2015 - Baker College of Muskegon Culinary Institute of Michigan (CIM) will host the SkillsUSA Regional Hospitality Competition on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015. Approximately 90 high school and career tech students are expected to participate in the all-day competition that will consist of one team and three individual events, including culinary arts, commercial baking, restaurant service and team banquet.
February 18, 2015 - The Baker College of Muskegon Residence Life community service team and Rotaract Club secured donations of more than 600 books to give to the students at Shoreline Elementary School in Whitehall recently.
